Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Construction team at Chesterfield College. The new team member will be required to teach on a range of programmes from Levels 1 to 2 in multi skill construction courses in both workshops and classroom environments.
Responsibilities
* Teach on a range of programmes from Levels 1 to 2 in multi skill construction courses in both workshops and classroom environments.
Qualifications
* At least a Level 2 qualification in an associated trade (Brickwork, Plastering, Joinery or Painting and Decorating).
* Varied experience working in the Construction Industry.
* A passion for the subject and a desire to train the next generation of construction workers.
* Possession of a teacher training qualification would be advantageous; a relevant assessor award would also be advantageous. However, a willingness to work towards these qualifications would be acceptable.
Benefits and Contract Details
* Salary: £20,898-£44,446 per annum (up to £53,882 with flexible benefits).
* Position type: Advertised Full Time / Part Time; 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year.
* Hours: 37 hours per week (as applicable).
* 51 days paid holiday per year.
