The Role
As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inspiring classroom atmosphere
Work closely with colleagues in the parallel Year 2 classes to share ideas and best practice
Attend staff meetings, parents’ evenings, and contribute to wider school life
This is a full-time role that includes planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) responsibilities.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 2 desirable)
A reflective practitioner with a growth mindset and a passion for helping pupils succeed
Strong communication and teamwork skills
