Role Overview As a Management Accountant, you will support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, analysis, and insight across the business. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a key role in maintaining strong financial control while driving efficiency and supporting business improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact within a growing and dynamic organisation. Responsibilities: Management Reporting: Producing accurate Monthly Management Accounts and required Financial Information, performing Variance Analysis and providing commentary on Financial Performance, also reconciling Intercompany Transactions and Balances. Reporting: Preparing and compiling Monthly Finance Packs and Board Packs to support Business Planning and Review. Cashflow Management: Taking full responsibility for Cash Flow, reporting and acting on any concerns or opportunities. Payroll & Compliance: Ensuring that Payroll is promptly prepared, approved and processed on Bankline in line with agreed SLAs and timelines/processes as per Protocols & Processes Documents (this includes all Bonus and Expense submissions). This responsibility also includes preparing related Reports and liaising with HMRC to ensure Regulatory Compliance. Sales Ledger: Production and issuance of all required Sales Invoices to External Entities and Group Companies, in line with the agreed SLAs and Processes as per Protocols & Processes Documents. Credit Control: Responsibility of proactively chasing all Clients with outstanding Sales Invoices to ensure prompt receipt of Payment Confirmations, Remittances and Funds in accordance with agreed SLAs and processes/timelines as per Protocols & Processes Documents. Inbound Client Queries: Promptly and professionally responding to all inbound Finance-related Emails, Responses and Requests, in line with the agreed SLAs and processes as per Protocols & Processes Documents. Where possible, building relationships with Adopting Party Contacts, Clients and Stakeholders. Strategy Implementation: Development and timely execution of all agreed actions and strategies to achieve desired outcomes where required. Weekly Update Reports: Issuance of a Weekly Update Report every Monday morning before 10:00am, utilising the current template. Events: Where required, attend any Industry Events to gain industry and networking experience. Additional Duties: Completion of any ad-hoc Tasks or Initiative Requests made by your Line Manager(s), Indevor Group Board of Directors or Indevor Group Senior Management Team. For example, production of an Ad-hoc Report. Internal Meetings: Responsibility for organising, preparing, reporting and following-up to all Weekly or Ad-hoc Finance Meetings. Purchase Ledger: Ensuring that all Supplier or Intercompany Purchase or Recharge Invoices are reviewed, approved and processed on Bankline in line with agreed SLAs and timelines/processes as per Protocols & Processes Documents. Financial Controls & Governance: Maintaining strong Internal Controls, ensuring Reconciliations are completed, and supporting any Audit Requirements. Systems & Process Improvement: Continuous documenting and streamlining of Finance Processes, improving reporting efficiency, and supporting the development of Finance Systems and Performance. Stakeholder Support: Acting as a Key Point of Contact for Directors, Managers, and External Stakeholders, providing support and financial insight to assist in decision-making. KPI Reporting: Tracking and reporting Financial and Operational KPIs to measure Business Performance. Key Qualities: Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role, within either industry or practice, is preferred. Strong understanding of accounting processes, including VAT, profit and loss (P&L) reporting, and credit control. Highly motivated with a commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and continuous professional development. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Ambitious and career-focused, with a desire to progress towards a Finance Director or similar leadership role. Proactive and commercially minded, with a focus on identifying efficiencies and driving business improvement initiatives.
