We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner for a Precision Engineering business supplying into the Aerospace & Defence industries. Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers and investment in new machinery, they have a need for an additional CNC Turner. What does it involve? The company is looking for an experienced CNC Turner who has experience working within a fast-paced Sub-Contract Machine Shop to machine parts within tolerance and in a timely manner. All machines are Fanuc controlled. What’s needed for me to be considered? * CNC Turner – Programmer level. * Competent with Fanuc (Essential) * Familiar with Doosan machines (advantageous, not essential). * CAD/CAM (Offline) programming (advantageous but not essential) * Reading of technical drawings with both metric and imperial measurements. * Previous experience in a sub-contract machine shop environment – working to AS9100 advantageous. * Use of metrology tools - Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc. If of interest, please press apply and our Director/Consultant will be in touch to discuss the position if you’re suitable.
