Your new roleYou’ll be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Your work will help ensure clients have accurate, timely financial information and feel supported throughout the year — not just at year‑end.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
2. Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations
3. Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submissions
4. Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
5. Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
6. Support the wider team with ad‑hoc accounting tasks
7. Ensurepliance with relevant accounting standards and HMRC requirements
What you'll need to succeed
8. Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice
9. Strong knowledge of cloud accounting software (, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
10. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
11. Confidentmunicating with clients
12. Ability to manage multiple deadlines
