Data & Analytics Lead
Responsible for implementing reporting solutions within the South West Central Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) as part of its Data & Analytics team, contributing to national projects and regional priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilise a range of data management platforms to extract performance insights.
* Engineer and implement robust data models using QlikScript and AppScript.
* Establish clear governance framework and business rules to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
* Transform data processes to enhance efficiency, scalability and reliability.
* Provide strong leadership and line management to the Data & Analytics Officer.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Significant relevant experience in health information or a mathematical/statistical field, or equivalent information handling and analysis experience.
* Experience managing the development of data visualisations and dashboards supporting business decision‑making.
* Knowledge of relational database design and SQL.
* Experience delivering a customer‑focused service and applying Agile concepts.
* Proficiency with Microsoft and Google platforms; experience with low‑code digital solutions such as AppSheets or Neptune.
* Leadership experience, including line managing staff and conducting formal performance reviews.
* Understanding of the UK health research system, including the NIHR.
Desirable
* Knowledge of demographic and health‑related trends within the region.
* European Computer Driving Licence.

Qualifications

Salary & Contract
£47,810 to £54,710 per annum (pro‑rata), Permanent, Full‑time.
Work Location
Whitefriars, Lewins Mead, Bristol, BS1 2NT (regional network).
