Advert Text Merton’s Family Support and Safeguarding Service are looking for Consultant Social Workers to join our long term Social Work teams for a rewarding role. Merton’s Leaders are committed and focused on supporting our staff and families and keeping children and young people at the heart of our work. You will work with families where there is a high level of need, you will be expected to support and mentor less experienced members of staff in the team, and act as practice educator for ASYEs. You will be able to supported to undertaken your PEPs training and supervise a student. The CSW is a key role to supporting practice and you will be invited to lead in a practice area of your choice in line with Merton's practice framework. You will have a demonstrable and relevant experience in working with Children and their families where there are complex needs and be able to demonstrate relevant and high quality skills in working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve best outcomes for children and young people in need of support and services.
