Field Service Engineer (Recycling Equipment/Mobile)
Location: South East
Salary: GBP 21.00 – 23.00 per hour plus overtime, realistic OTE GBP 50,000 – 70,000. Benefits: Van, fuel card, laptop, phone, uniform, PPE, paid door-to-door travel, call-out 1 in 6 (paid extra), pension, 20 days holiday, bank holidays, stay-away expenses.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
About the Role
Field Service Engineer required for a fast-growing, reputable recycling company. You will be part of a team of service engineers responsible for electrical and mechanical repair work on recycling equipment at client sites. The role is customer-facing and offers plenty of overtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Repairing or replacing damaged parts and reassembling at client sites.
* Electrical and mechanical service and fitting components to meet specifications and standards.
* Providing lots of overtime.
* Call‑out rota 1 week in 7.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Experience repairing and servicing recycling equipment such as conveyors, bailers or similar equipment.
* Comfortable with travel and overnight stays when needed.
* Electrical qualification.
