This vacancy, the result of the current incumbent moving jobs for career progression will report into the head of finance and will work within a small finance team 5 days per week in the office.
The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the head of finance to free up their time to deliver on a number of projects and process improvements to aid efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function. The role holder will be accountable for the day-to-day tasks of the finance function with a focus on the payables side of the function.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Using the companies ERP system, you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices.
Oversight and maintenance of the supplier ledger ensuring that reconciliations are completed and that payment runs are made within internal policies.
