Overview
Join to apply for the Maintenance Engineer role at European Foundation for Business Qualification (EFBQ). Our client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their Calibration & Maintenance team. The role involves day-to-day support to the operations team and repairs on process equipment and environmental stress screening facilities, using drawings, circuit diagrams, schematics, user manuals, and other relevant resources.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day support to the operations team.
* Repair process equipment and environmental stress screening facilities using drawings, circuit diagrams, schematics, user manuals, and other relevant resources.
* Utilise information to conduct precise measurements up to component level.
* Work on manufacturing process equipment (CCA manufacture desirable).
* Experience with vibration shakers and environmental chambers would be desirable.
* Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks, and priorities concurrently.
* Able to mentor other or more junior staff when the line manager requests.
* A good understanding of SAP would be desirable.
Qualifications
* Minimum qualification: HNC in a relevant engineering subject.
* Experience and knowledge in fault finding down to the component level is necessary.
* Experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance is required.
* Analytical approach and good problem-solving skills.
* Able to provide technical advice and guidance using instructions, handbooks, drawings, or specifications.
* Experience working on manufacturing process equipment (CCA manufacture is desirable).
Requirements
* Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. BPSS checks after offer stage managed by our client's Security Team.
