Experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant - Wolverhampton

Monarch Education is partnering with a primary school in Wolverhampton to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately, ideal for an individual passionate about early years education with experience leading their own family groups.
The successful candidate will be an Early Years Specialist capable of creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include leading your own family group, providing tailored support, and promoting children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead your own family group within the EYFS setting, supporting children's development and learning.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.
* Provide individual support to children, promoting positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional development.
* Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants and staff to ensure a well-structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
* Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and supporting their individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Proven experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
* Experience leading your own family groups within the EYFS setting.
* A deep understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the children.
