Are you an experienced Motor Claims Handler who enjoys supporting the development of others? At Proximo, the UK's leading provider of specialist and adapted replacement vehicles, we are committed to keeping people on the move. Our dedicated Learning and Development team is currently seeking a Motor Claims Trainer to join us in supporting the growth and performance of our Credit Hire department.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions and assessing learning outcomes to enhance the effectiveness and capability of the Credit Hire team. If you possess strong industry knowledge but are looking to make a move from operations, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
What does a typical day as a Motor Claims Trainer at Proximo involve?
Forget waiting around for instructions or working from a set task list —this role offers the freedom to drive change, create new initiatives, and constantly look beyond current capabilities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Designing targeted training modules in key areas such as First Notification of Loss, liability assessment, and recovery negotiation.
* Delivering job-specific training across claims functions for both new starters and existing team members.
* Carrying out training needs analyses to identify gaps and emerging requirements in technical skills.
What are we looking for?
* At least three years’ experience in the Motor Claims, Insurance or Credit Hire sector is essential.
* Strong communication, planning and organisational abilities.
* Prior experience in delivering formal training or providing developmental support to colleagues would be a definite advantage.
