Finance Assistant Responsible to Finance Manager, Group Finance Director Job title of those you are responsible for None General responsibility To assist in the management of the company’s financial affairs in line with applicable accounting standards. Specific responsibilities • Maintenance of accounting records for the company • Perform project invoicing on a weekly basis • Perform preferred supplier invoicing monthly • Maintain sales records, contract sales and sales g/l in COINS • Monthly customer statement reconciliations • Maintain project accounting records • Maintain cashbook and perform bank reconciliation daily on COINS • Maintain procurement records, supplier, and sub-contractor g/l in COINS • Provide support in the processing of supplier and sub-contractor invoices (as and when needed) • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations • Assistance with the weekly supplier payment run • Processing of employee expenses • Manage the finance team mailbox (as and when needed) • Month end close deadlines and assistance with month end processes • Support co-workers within the finance team on other ad-hoc tasks • Daily Purchase order and payments transfer to COINS • Accounts payable management, resolving supplier queries and monitoring supplier credit limits • To comply with all company policies and procedures that relate to anti-bribery, quality, environment and health and safety Skills / experience required • Keen desire to work in a fast- Minimum 2 years’ purchase or sales ledger experience paced environment • Construction industry experience desirable • Positive, proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail
