We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate childcare professional, who is keen to progress their career, to join the management team in Barry.
The successful candidate will work 39 hours over 4 days, with shift times between 7:15-18:00. They will support the Senior Manager, assisting in managing the employees, overseeing the day-to-day running of the setting, and contributing to its success.

Requirements:
* Minimum CCPLD L3 (or equivalent) qualification.
* 3 years experience in an early years setting.
* Flexible and reliable with a "can do, will do" approach to your work – cheerful and enthusiastic.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Able to do your job to a high standard with little supervision or intervention from management.
* Friendly and welcoming approach to parents, colleagues and children.
Responsibilities - manage the team to ensure:
* The children's physical, emotional and developmental needs are met.
* Effective activity planning is carried out in line with nursery policies in order to provide the children with stimulating activities and experiences appropriate to their age and individual ability.
* Safe and clean surroundings are maintained at all times and health and safety and fire procedures are followed.
* Children's developmental progress is identify and accurately recorded.
