Teacher: Computing and Digital Skills
Contract Type: Adult Teacher, full time permanent Salary: Scale 1 – 6 (£26776- £34805) Hours: 37 hours per week (820 teaching hours per year) Required as soon as possible
We are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic full time teacher to teach adults in Computing and Digital Skills.You will have a proven track record for outstanding delivery teaching, learning and assessment in this subject.
You will hold a full teaching qualification and a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject specialism.You will also have a broad range of experience in adult education and excellent communication and organisational skills.You will have demonstrable experience in high quality student support, curriculum development and blended learning delivery.
You must demonstrate a good understanding of adult learning contexts and the motivations and barriers facing students.

Our working arrangements
All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style.Some roles are agile which enable and empowers employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a fixed workstyle work in a fixed permanent council location. Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocation where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location. Roles with a flexible workstyle have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
