Vehicle Technician Needed for an independent garage in Winchester
1. Basic salary: up to £36,000
2. Team bonus: Team performance bonus scheme OTE £40,000
3. Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:00 till 17:00
4. No Saturdays
5. Must have experience as a technician
6. UK Full driving Licence
Our Client, a small independent garage group based in the Hampshire area, dealing with all makes of models of vehicles are seeking a Vehicle Technician for their branch in Winchester.
They are a well-respected automotive business, with multiple sites across the Hampshire area, providing a whole range of automotive services.

Duties of a Technician with our Client:
14. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints
15. Carry out MOTs if applicable
16. Carry out vehicle repairs and communicate issues to service manager and service advisors; conduct additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors
17. Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality
18. Keep work area clean, neat, and to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members
What our Client expects of their Technician:
19. Time Served experience without qualifications - Considered
20. Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Similar - Ideally
21. To provide basic tooling and equipment, or be able to purchase own basic tooling and equipment prior to employment
22. A willingness to learn new skills
23. Organisational skills, and work well under pressure
24. Knowledge of the motor trade
25. Good team player
26. Full UK driving licence (Necessity)
