Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Italian lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally Key Stage 5.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the MFL department.
* Contribute to the development of the Italian curriculum.
* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
* Adhere to all school safeguarding policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching Italian at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
* Native or near-native fluency in Italian.
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Italian language and culture.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
