An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Paediatric Child Development Service in the role of a 30 hour per week Band 3 Administrator. Successful applicant will be responsible for a comprehensive administrative service to a Clinical Specialty Team who provide join assessment for communication clinics and manages all new referrals into the CDS. The job holder will have extensive involvement with Clinicians and Service Managers across the Trust to ensure that patients are treated in accordance with the Trusts Policy and Procedures. This role is based at St Luke's Hospital, but there may be times where cross cover at Bradford Royal Infirmary will be necessary. What We’re Looking For: Someone with excellent administrative skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for supporting Children's Services. Experience with healthcare data systems, particularly EPR and SystmOne, is essential, as is a background in NHS or clinical administration. Advert Key Responsibilities Act as focal point of contact. responsible for the dissemination of information for the medical team, liaise with team members & other health professionals and staff internal/external to BTHFT. Organise dates/manage waiting list for JACC Clinics. Coordinate responses and chase reports from stakeholders. Ensure JACC clinics are ready for clinic preparation. Book appointments. Type JACC reports following assessment. Provide admin support in relation to the CDS Referral Waiting List using SystmOne. Manage appropriate/inappropriate referrals as instructed, uploading onto the EPR System, type letters and tasks on relevant IT systems, liaise with referrers including GP Practice, School Nurse Team, Health Visitors. Dealing with telephone enquires which may be of a sensitive nature in a constructive and sensitive manner, referring to appropriate person where necessary and re-routing these calls when required. To effectively and efficiently administer and maintain any relevant IT systems. Including EPR and/or other local systems, word, internet and email. Work with other secretaries and admin teams to assist in the smooth running of the department & undertake other clerical duties as delegated by the colleagues as and when required. Working on own initiative as far as possible, ensure work is carried out in specific timescales, meeting both Trust and Government deadlines.
