Business Support Officer (Hybrid) needed in Shefford, £13.96ph PAYE - Reference: OR7266 30 hours per week on a contract initially for around 8 weeks to be reviewed but may extend to 6 months. The post will be making calls to residents referred to the Choose You Service to introduce and explain the service and book residents onto programmes. Empathetic and understanding of what the service is and offers. Need to be trained in using the Choose You caseload management system “Theseus” and understanding/communicating the service offer. Need to be able to spend 30 hours a week making calls. This will include some evening and weekend work to cover residents who are not available to receive calls during the working day. Must be able to travel to Chicksands to receive training and collaborate with colleagues. Roles initially will be up to 8 weeks duration, with the possibility to extend up to 6 months in total. We are flexible to accommodate candidates wanting to work between 15-30 hours per week. The role will be hybrid - calls can be made from the office or from home. Calls will need to be made from an appropriate location - i.e. it is not acceptable for calls to be made with loud distractions, e.g. children, pets or other noise in the background. If working from home, candidates must have an area to work that will meet DSE requirements and be appropriate to make sensitive calls, in a professional manner, free from distractions and background noise. This is a full time role on a Temporary contract basis.
