Home Instead Lincoln is looking for compassionate, reliable Live-In Care Assistants to support individuals to live safely, comfortably, and happily in their own homes. About the Role – Live-In Care Assistant As a Live-In Carer, you will live in the client’s home on a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rota, providing consistent, person-centered care and companionship. You will support clients with day-to-day living while promoting independence and emotional wellbeing — allowing them to remain in the place they love most: their own home. Key Responsibilities • Personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and continence care • Supporting mobility, transfers, and safe movement • Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration • Medication support in line with care plans and training • Providing companionship and emotional support • Encouraging social interaction and meaningful activities • Light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes to the care team • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records What We’re Looking For Experience in care, home care, senior care, or nursing (preferred but not essential) • A kind, patient, and compassionate approach • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to learn — full training provided • Dementia care or similar training is an advantage • UK driving license beneficial but not essential • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) Working Pattern • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off • Live-in placement with one client at a time What We Offer • £135 per day • Daily food allowance • 35p per mile business mileage (if required) • 28 days’ holiday (pro rata) • Workplace pension • Staff discounts • 24/7 on-call support • Fully funded training and ongoing professional development Why Join Home Instead Lincoln?
