We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner who understands the work we do, the kinds of people who thrive here, and how we collaborate globally. Our goal is to foster a high-performance, employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, and goal achievement. In this role you will support the Sustainalytics business unit and leadership team.
This role will be based in London, partnering closely with leaders and teams across Europe, North America, and APAC.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary advisor and consultant to the business unit leader and their leadership team.
* Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with operational and strategic objectives.
* Contribute to the development and execution of the business’s talent strategy, with a focus on growth and capability building.
* Lead People & Culture organizational strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
* Navigate a global work environment to implement global programs while recognizing regional best practices.
* Identify and implement systematic, scalable solutions by partnering with People & Culture domain experts and cross-functional teams.
* Coach and support managers to enhance leadership effectiveness, including guidance on coaching, mentoring, training and development, rewards and recognition, and performance management.
* Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues to proactively improve and globalize work processes that support Morningstar’s business initiatives.
Desired Experience
* 5–10 years of experience in human resources as a business leader, with exposure to areas such as talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, employee rewards, and employee relations.
* Proven ability to earn the trust of senior leaders and serve as a valued advisor to both managers and employees.
* Experience working effectively in a matrixed, global environment and managing global initiatives.
* Strong project management and program implementation skills.
* Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
* Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
* Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
* Interest in or familiarity with ESG, sustainability, or responsible investing is a plus.
