We are currently working with a leading engineering business seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their established production team in Worcestershire. The Role:
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will play a key role in fabricating components according to industry standards and internal quality requirements.
Duties will include:
1. TIG welding of stainless steel sheet materials
2. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
3. Operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes and guillotines
4. Participating in assembly, packing, and related tasks
5. Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe, tidy work environment
6. Supporting continuous process and equipment improvements
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a stainless steel sheet metal fabricator
* Proficiency in TIG welding (non-coded acceptable)
* Ability to work from technical drawings
* Competence with press brakes, guillotines, and other fabrication tools
* Flexible, proactive, and safety-conscious approach
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* GCSE Grade C/4 or higher in Maths and English is preferred but not essential
