Lead and manage a team of teaching staff within the school and assigned curricular areas. Support and deliver quality education to pupils and contribute to the school's aims and values, including learning, personal responsibility, respect, maximising attainment, achievement, and fostering responsible social attitudes.
The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Note: The grade for this position may change annually, in line with the SNCT Handbook. Any grade change will be effective from 1st August each year.

Requirements
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join or update the PVG Scheme and provide relevant checks. If the candidate has spent over 3 months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent on satisfactory completion of these checks.
