We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established piling contractor with a strong reputation for delivering technically demanding projects across the UK. This role offers the chance to influence project success from the outset and be part of a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparing accurate cost estimates for piling projects
* Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
* Liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers to gather and validate pricing
* Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
* Supporting the commercial team during tender submissions and negotiations
What we're looking for:
* Demonstrable experience as an Estimator within the piling sector (essential)
* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation ability
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* A proactive, detail-focused approach
