Job Advert: Full-Time School Support Staff – Crosby
Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their education? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Staff Member to join a dynamic and welcoming secondary school in Crosby on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a committed team, working closely with teaching staff to help students thrive both academically and personally.
About the Role:
* Provide day-to-day classroom support across various year groups
* Assist students with their learning and personal development, including those with additional needs
* Work one-to-one and in small groups to reinforce lesson content and encourage engagement
* Support the wider school community by helping with behaviour management, supervision, and administrative tasks where needed
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment for all students
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in an educational setting or working with children/young people is desirable but not essential
* A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in student wellbeing and development
* Flexibility and the ability to work well within a team
* A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the needs of all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
