Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring, resilient, and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time across secondary schools in the Plymouth area.

About the Role
As a SEND Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Work 1:1 or with small groups to support learning, engagement, and emotional regulation
* Assist students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in and out of the classroom
* Support the class teacher and SENCO in implementing EHCP targets and support strategies
* Help manage behaviour positively and promote inclusion and independence
* Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment

About You
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient in your approach
* Passionate about inclusive education and supporting SEND pupils
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Able to build positive, trusting relationships with young people
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable but not essential
* Backgrounds in education, psychology, care, youth work, or support roles are welcomed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
