At Bury College, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of MIS to join our College Management Team. The successful Head of MIS will deliver quality, cross‑college Management Information Services in a way that supports the work of the College and wider Directorate. You will play a strategic role in maximising funding opportunities, ensuring continued data accuracy and overseeing robust funding returns, audit compliance and the delivery of high‑quality management information. With a strong experience of FE/HE funding and data systems, you will play a key role in influencing key decisions, developing and empowering teams, focussing on College‑wide continuous improvement. We are looking for an ambitious, detail‑driven leader with exceptional analytical, communication and management skills; a commitment to inclusivity, excellence and supporting the College’s strategic mission and vision is essential. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, a good knowledge of project management principles and an ability to work to deadlines.
NB: Interviews will take place on Thursday 26th February. Please note that new guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024 requires us to carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This will enable us to identify any incidents or issues which have happened and are publicly available online that we might want to explore at interview.
