The Role

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Lecturer in Business and Tourism. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and inspire students to succeed in the dynamic sectors of business and tourism, with a particular focus on our Level 1 and Level 2 provision.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

As a key member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and delivery of outstanding learning experiences for students. Specific duties will include:

* Delivering inclusive, high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Business and Tourism.
* Supporting curriculum design and aligning content with current industry standards and practices.
* Monitoring and supporting student recruitment, progress, achievement, and progression.
* Engaging in recruitment activities including interviews, open events, and initial advice and guidance (IAG).
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in subject areas and in face-to-face and digital pedagogies.
* Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement within the department.
