Zurich is looking for a data‑driven, analytically minded individual to join our fast‑paced insurance environment. Since launching our suite of eTrade products, our SME portfolio has grown significantly and now we need someone who can turn datasets into meaningful insight that drives decision‑making.
Our SME Portfolio Underwriting team plays a vital role in ensuring the profitable growth of our eTraded SME business. We’re expanding the team with someone who is curious, motivated and passionate about using analytics to uncover trends, spot opportunities and help steer the direction of our SME products.

Key responsibilities:
1. Turn complex datasets into clear insight by delivering regular analysis under the direction of the Portfolio Managers.
2. Support the continuous improvement of our SME products through data‑driven recommendations.
3. Develop strong knowledge of market trends, distribution channels and our competitive landscape.
4. Contribute positively to a diverse, supportive and collaborative team culture.
Your skills and experience:
5. Experience within underwriting or claims, or an understanding of insurance processes.
6. Strong numerical and data manipulation skills, with the ability to interpret trends and outcomes.
7. Some exposure to using data analysis to inform decisions or profitability insights (advantageous but not essential).
8. Confident communicator, able to explain analysis clearly to stakeholders.
