We are currently recruiting for a Post Room Operative to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Leicester! Contract Information: Pay Rate: £12.32 per hour Hours: 24 hours a week. Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am to 1pm and Friday 8am to 12pm Your Time at Work As a Post Room Operative you will be responsible for: Post: - Receiving Post and signing for special delivery - Receive and sign parcels from couriers - Sort and deliver the post around the site - Frank and send out all outgoing mail and small parcels Printing: - Machine Shipping Orders(MSOs) are a top priority over any task, twice a week - Printing on request for anyone on site - SWEs Books - Make Booklets and documents used at various points around the site Stationery: - Process orders received by email, phone, in person or requisition orders in post bags - Replenish stationery on a weekly basis or as required Post Runs: - Complete two post runs a day as standard - More runs undertaken for urgent items - All post bags are checked for outgoing mail - Post parcels and requested items are dropped at the relevant post bag for collection Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have: - A checkable personal history including periods of education, employment, travel, and unemployment - Excellent customer service skills - Smart appearance - Good communication skills, both verbal and written - Computer literacy and competence in Microsoft applications (keyboard skills) Applicants should be able to drive, as you will be trained to operate a buggy.
