ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will be to deliver a variety of activities that promote the physical, psychological, and social well-being of residents, while respecting their privacy, dignity, independence, and rights.
Other responsibilities include:
* Understanding residents’ life histories, needs, and preferences through listening to them and their families to develop detailed life stories.
* Planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, along with weekly overviews, to the Home Manager.
* Organising activities, events, and outings, encouraging staff, relatives, and visitors to participate.
* Maintaining a safe environment and contributing to the positive image of the home.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in all your actions.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience working with older adults in a residential or nursing dementia setting
* Experience in organizing activities and events
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* A positive attitude towards older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events
