People & Culture Administrator – The Medlock at Etihad Campus, Manchester

20 hours per week (4 days)

At The Medlock, we believe exceptional hospitality starts with exceptional people - and our People & Culture team leads the way in bringing that belief to life. We champion our colleagues, spark growth and shape a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and inspired to thrive.

As our team is starting to grow, we’re now looking for a People & Culture Administrator who brings energy, organisation, and a genuine passion for people. If you love the buzz of getting things right, enjoy bringing moments of care to others, and find joy in the small details that elevate an experience, this could be the perfect next step in your Medlock journey.

The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel is opening at the heart of Manchester's Etihad Campus, home to Manchester City Football club. This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.

The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.

The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to stay, connect and experience everything the campus has to offer.

Reporting into the People & Culture Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our team running smoothly. From onboarding new colleagues to supporting day-to-day People & Culture hotel operations and team member engagement, you’ll help create a seamless, thoughtful experience throughout the employee journey.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where every day brings something different – and every task contributes to building a workplace we’re proud of.

What you'll be doing:

As our People & Culture Administrator, you’re the connector — the person who helps transform new starters into confident Team Members, everyday questions into real support, and People & Culture processes into seamless, upbeat experiences. You’ll be right at the heart of the hotel, supporting teams, managers, and new colleagues, making sure everyone has the guidance, information, and access they need to hit the ground running.

You’ll be the trusted go to for people queries, the friendly face in the office, and the guardian of accurate, beautifully organised People & Culture records. From onboarding days packed with warm welcomes to the daily flow of data, documents, and conversations, you’ll make every touchpoint feel personal — because at Medlock, people never feel like paperwork.

You’ll take ownership of systems, documents, and processes, responding quickly, clearly, and authentically. No fuss - just sharp, supportive service. With your meticulous eye for detail and passion for people, you’ll partner closely with managers and teams to ensure every experience reflects who we are: warm, hard‑working, and full of personality.

What's in it for you?

* Join the pre-opening team for a high-profile launch within one of Manchester’s most exciting developments

* Be part of a dynamic, fun and engaging team focused on delivering exceptional experiences from day one

* Work closely with City Football Group, Valor Hospitality and Radisson Hotel Group — benefitting from strong support while retaining local ownership and autonomy within the wider hotel team

About you:

* You bring a friendly, genuine approach with a solutions-focused mindset, understanding what real hospitality feels like – you make people feel cared for, never processed

* You’re confident, highly organised and adaptable, thriving in the energy, pace and sense of possibility that comes with a pre-opening environment

* You have experience with on-property hotel teams, either in a similar role or within the wider People & Culture/HR field, giving you a strong foundation in colleague experience

* You’re an excellent communicator, who handles confidential information with absolute discretion, sensitivity and professionalism

In addition to competitive rates of pay, we also offer:

Exclusive discounts for you, your friends and family

* Valor team member rates at our UK hotels, with rooms from just £30 B&B

* Discounted stays for friends and family

* 50% discount when dining in our restaurants and bars

* Free meals while on duty, keeping you well-fuelled

* Access to high-street discounts on a range of shops, experiences and more

* Up to 40% savings on a wide range of bikes, with our Cycle To Work Scheme

* Generous refer-a-friend bonuses, starting at £250

Caring for your health and wellbeing, both in and outside of work

* A calendar of wellness activities – from healthy lunches to wellbeing walks and pay day treats, not forgetting our annual #HealthyHabits campaign

* Access to our Employee Assistance Programme, providing free confidential advice, 24/7, for you and your family, supporting physical, mental and financial wellbeing

* Healthcare Cash Plan options, from just £5 per month

This isn't just another People & Culture role - it's about clarity, care and confidence, all delivered with that unmistakable Medlock personality.
