Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Tax specialist to join our busy Corporate Tax team in Leeds. The role offers the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most exciting clients in the market, helping them navigate an increasingly complex tax environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
* Lead the successful delivery of technically complex advisory, compliance and reporting engagements.
* Provide exceptional client service and ensure quality of delivery.
* Collaborate with other tax specialist teams.
* Build networks and relationships internally and externally.
* Supervise, coach and mentor staff, facilitating their development.
* Lead team initiatives, covering all aspects of successfully managing a team.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Significant experience in Corporate Tax, either from practice or in-house.
* Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
* Ability to sustain opinions and manage stakeholders effectively.
* Business development acumen, able to identify and convert opportunities.
* Effective time‑management and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Team‑player who can create and sustain effective teams.
* Experience coaching and developing junior staff.
* Commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a corporate tax practitioner.
* ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent tax specialist qualification or breadth of knowledge.
* Full Technical Training course, law qualification or similar certification preferred.
