About the Role
At Tesco, we put people first, and our pharmacy team is no exception. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality pharmacy services, supporting pharmacists, and fostering strong relationships with the community and local health providers.
Responsibilities
* Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and private services, and provide healthcare advice to customers.
* Play an active role in our charity support programme, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
* Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
* Help build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
* Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS‑covered items.
Qualifications
* Pharmacy Degree.
* Passionate about leading and empowering a team.
* Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme – we will assist with this.
* Complete a DBS check (organised by us) before employment.
