Your role:
Wigan Council is looking for a Placement Quality Officer to join our dynamic and experienced LAC Commissioning and Placement Team. You’ll play a vital role in shaping and maintaining a high-quality, diverse placement market that meets the needs of children and young people across the borough.
* Lead on quality assurance and contract compliance and external care providers.
* Conduct compliance visits and oversee improvement plans for high-risk placements.
* Develop and review outcome-focused Individual Placement Agreements (IPAs).
* Support market development by sourcing and shaping new care provisions.
* Collaborate with residential services, fostering, respite care, and external providers.
* Ensure safeguarding and GDPR compliance in all aspects of your work
