About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Manager to join our Finance function at EG Group. The Audit Manager will play a key role in delivering a high-quality audit programme across the business, covering internal, external, statutory, and tax audits. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of audit planning and delivery, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure audits are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
This role is focused on strengthening controls, improving processes, and supporting strong governance across the organisation. You will be expected to provide constructive challenge, identify risks and weaknesses, and work collaboratively with the business to implement practical, sustainable improvements. The role is well suited to a qualified audit professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing change.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Leading group, statutory, and tax audits, acting as the main point of contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.
2. Planning audit activity, allocating resources effectively, and managing timelines to ensure successful delivery.
3. Reviewing audit findings, resolving issues, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of audit deliverables.
4. Identifying business process risks and evaluating the effectiveness of controls through appropriate testing.
5. Developing clear audit reports and recommendations, presenting findings to finance leadership and senior stakeholders.
6. Supporting the implementation of agreed audit actions and management letter points.
7. Maintaining awareness of regulatory requirements, industry developments, and best practice to continuously enhance the audit approach

What we’re looking for:
8. Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
9. Proven experience in an audit-focused role, with a strong understanding of internal and external audit processes.
10. Confident working in a fast-paced, growing environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
11. Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and a structured, logical approach.
12. Ability to challenge constructively, demonstrate resilience, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
13. Strong organisational skills with a results-focused mindset and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
14. Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP is desirable.
15. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
16. Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated, with a desire to drive improvements and support business growth.
