Customer Team Member
Location: The Co0operate Food, 173-175 South Lambeth Road, London, SW8 1XW
Pay: £13.85 per hour including London allowance
Contract: 15 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent part-time contract
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview. Role involves working in our in-store bakery.
Full, paid training provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!). You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.
What you’ll do
* Friendly and thoughtful service - put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, working in our in-store bakery and delivering a great shopping experience.
* Work together to support store colleagues and solve problems for customers and members.
* Keep the store safe and legal - stock shelves, check prices, dates, and temperatures.
* Help introduce new products and services - make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
* Support your local community - get involved in activities and events.
Responsibilities & requirements
* Provide great customer service on tills and the shop floor and perform a wide range of tasks (re-stocking shelves, cleaning up spillages).
* A genuine care for the needs of customers and members; excellent people skills; positive attitude toward change and problem solving; ability to work flexible shifts.
* Willingness to work a variety of shifts including early mornings and evenings.
