Job Description A well-established and internationally recognised certification organisation is seeking a Product Certification Specialist to join its PPE Certification function. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, supporting the assessment and certification of personal protective equipment against UK and EU regulations. You will become part of a collaborative, technically focused team operating across multiple international locations, contributing to the certification processes that enable manufacturers to place compliant products on the market. The Role Reporting to a Team Leader and working closely with internal technical and quality teams, you will be responsible for carrying out technical certification assessments in line with relevant standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include: Conducting certification assessments of PPE products in accordance with applicable standards and regulations Reviewing and interpreting technical documentation and performance requirements Preparing draft certification documentation and supporting approval processes Communicating clearly with customers regarding certification requirements, progress updates, and outcomes Supporting quality management system requirements within an accredited ISO 17065 environment Attending external technical meetings and contributing to standardisation activities where required About You Essential: Broad technical understanding and a methodical, detail-focused approach Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills Experience working with customers or external stakeholders Confident using Microsoft Office applications Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to travel occasionally (UK and overseas) Desirable: Science-based degree or equivalent technical qualification Experience working within a test laboratory or regulated environment Knowledge of PPE, product compliance, or certification processes Understanding of CE/UKCA marking or European regulatory frameworks Additional language skills Benefits 25–30 days annual leave (service related) plus bank holidays Group personal pension scheme Life assurance and income protection Flexible working hours Free on-site parking Supportive, collaborative working environment If you are technically minded, detail-driven, and interested in working within a regulated, internationally focused certification environment, we would welcome your application.
