Requirements:
1. Must have the right to live and work in the UK
2. Must have experience working in children's residential care
3. Must hold a UK driving license
About the role:
1. Assist in developing the skills and potential of support workers
2. Manage shifts effectively and efficiently
3. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
4. Maintain administrative tasks in line with legislation and home practices
5. Assess the daily needs of children and young people
6. Supervise and develop staff skills
7. Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
9. Build relationships and engage with young people with learning disabilities
10. Maintain health, safety, and well-being of children at all times
11. Ensure staff support social, educational, leisure, emotional, physical, and cultural needs
12. Facilitate key worker responsibilities
13. Implement behaviour management strategies
14. Act as deputy in the absence of the home manager
15. Attend reviews and meetings as required
