Rehabilitation Case Manager – Salary circa £27,000
Are you someone who is passionate about helping people return to work? Are you detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment?
If so, this could be the role for you!
A bit about the job:
The purpose of this role is to support the employees of our corporate customers to facilitate a safe, timely, and sustainable return to work following a health-related absence.
Working within our Group Income Protection claims team, you will use an evidence-based, biopsychosocial approach to telephonically evaluate the nature of a customer’s symptoms and functional restrictions resulting from various medical conditions.
You will identify potential obstacles and consider appropriate intervention pathways to help people recover and overcome barriers to achieve a successful return to work. This involves utilizing our supplier network to aid in recovery and may include negotiating and designing bespoke return-to-work plans with absent employees, HR teams, line managers, occupational health teams, and other relevant health professionals.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Background in health and/or claims setting, with an understanding of reasonable adjustments within the workplace and the return-to-work process following absence.
* Genuine interest and passion for supporting individuals through their recovery from health conditions, with the ability to multitask in a busy corporate environment.
* Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or musculoskeletal conditions, as well as other chronic medical conditions.
* Proficiency in operating various IT platforms (training provided), with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Health-related qualifications are highly regarded (although not essential with the right experience).
