The Role
An opportunity has arisen to join a specialist Property Bridging team in London, supporting a high-volume caseload of short-term lending and secured property transactions.
This role is suited to a Paralegal or Solicitor with strong property experience in bridging finance who is keen to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. You will play a key role in bridging finance matters, working closely with lenders, brokers, and borrowers to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Bridging Finance & Secured Lending
* Manage or assist with a caseload of bridging finance transactions from instruction through to completion
* Draft and review loan agreements, security documents, debentures, and personal guarantees
* Review title documentation, searches, and valuations in line with lender requirements
* Liaise with underwriters to satisfy pre-completion conditions
* Act for lenders and/or borrowers, providing clear and practical legal support
* Identify risks and ensure transactions are structured in a commercially sound manner
* Maintain momentum on files to meet tight completion deadlines
Property & Conveyancing Support
* Handle or support residential and commercial property transactions linked to finance matters
* Review contracts and reports on title where required
* Liaise with clients, solicitors, brokers, and third parties
* Ensure files are compliant with AML and regulatory requirements
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records
About You
* Paralegal or qualified Solicitor with experience in property law
* Strong background in residential and/or commercial conveyancing
* Exposure to bridging finance, secured lending.
* Confident managing or supporting a busy caseload
* Strong understanding of title, security, and property risk
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
* Good knowledge of AML and compliance frameworks
