Job Purpose / Overview
We are looking for engineering Planners to join our business on a permanent basis. This is to work on Thames Water projects across London and surrounding areas.
Principal Accountabilities, Activities And Decisions
* Assist with the development of the delivery programme. Including close working and co-ordination with Senior Planner, delivery teams, supply chain to build up the optimum methodology, sequence, timing, production & resource
* Assist with programme updates with respect to performance during the construction period
* Recommend mitigation measures on areas of forecast critical programme slippage
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* A degree, HND or similar equivalent in a civil engineering or geotechnical subject is desirable
* Experience of planning services within large complex environments within the construction industry
* Good experience in scheduling tools and software like Primavera P6, MS Project or ASTA
* Understanding of the methods of construction, incl. plant, equipment, and labour requirements
* Relevant CSCS Card
