Who You Are You are an experienced Social Worker with at least five years post-qualifying experience and a deep understanding of social work theories and models. You are passionate about improving outcomes for children and their families and have a proven track record of managing varied caseloads and working collaboratively with multi-agency teams. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and are dedicated to delivering high-quality services and interventions to vulnerable children. What the Job Involves The role involves working within the Family Help team, supporting children from assessment onwards to build meaningful relationships with families and create lasting change. You will focus on ensuring timely support for children, reducing the number of children entering local authority care. Your responsibilities include completing direct work with children to understand their views and lived experiences, chairing multi-agency meetings, and making a positive impact on families. You will work from home and from CBC offices, attending an office as often as necessary.
