Social Media Manager Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who understands what makes sports content engaging. Someone comfortable creating real-time posts during live matches and planning campaigns that keep fans engaged.
Ideal candidates will have experience at a sports agency, broadcaster, club, or league in roles such as Social Media Executive, Producer, or Junior Manager. You should be adept at covering events live (both on-site and remotely), writing impactful captions quickly, and creating content that stands out.
What you'll be doing:
1. Managing multiple social channels daily, maintaining content calendars, and ensuring a steady flow of content
2. Developing campaign ideas and social-first content that appeals to sports fans
3. Writing real-time and scheduled copy to bring live events to life
4. Briefing editors, designers, and creators (both internal and external)
5. Covering live sports events and reacting swiftly to major moments
6. Optimizing content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
7. Editing short-form videos using Premiere Pro and CapCut
8. Performing light Photoshop edits to modify graphics and templates
