Maintenance engineer (Electrical Bias) Location : Craigavon, Northern Ireland Hours : 40 hours per week. Tri-weekly rotation of days, evenings & nights. 8 hour shift pattern Sunday PM to Friday PM Days, Evenings, Nights rotated weekly. week 1 is 06:00 to 14:30, week 2 is 14:00 to 22:30 and 3rd week is 2200 to 06:30. The role is dynamic and versatile in its daily tasks. The primary function of a Maintenance Engineer is to perform routine preventative maintenance schedules as per the PEMAC (Planned Engineering and Maintenance Control) system in a cGMP environment. The post holder will also be responsible general maintenance requests on equipment and facilities across the Almac Sciences Business Unit. Including carrying out calibration activities on process equipment. There may be the opportunity to travel from time to time based on business needs. This role would suit someone who is motivated, methodical, and exhibits excellent troubleshooting skills. What we are looking for We are looking for someone with City & Guilds Level 3 in an Electrical related discipline (or equivalent) combined with post apprenticeship experience in a maintenance environment. Whilst not essential, it would be desirable for candidates to have HND/HNC (or equivalent) in an electrical related discipline, Previous maintenance experience within the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Experience of electronic preventative maintenance scheduling tools Experience of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA) Experience of calibration completion Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK.
