Overview
The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare. The role is based at The Chiltern Hospital and requires the applicant to travel to The Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe for dual‑site working. The Clinical Lead will oversee and drive the Minor Ops department, assist the Clinical Services Manager with operational management, and cover a flexible shift pattern.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Level 1, Diploma or BSc in Nursing Studies with RN certification and valid NMC Registration.
* Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge in area of practice and awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
* Recruitment and selection skills.
* Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
* Proficient in PC use, including software and systems.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical support to the department to promote and ensure excellent patient care.
* Lead the department under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) or Clinical Services Manager (CSM).
* Deploy, supervise and mentor staff within the clinical area, supporting hospital management in providing clinical leadership.
* Maintain written records and legal documents to required levels and accepted practice.
