Role Responsibilities
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer looking for a rewarding job in Darlington, County Durham. The incoming Commercial Property Solicitor will handle a varied and high‑quality caseload, including:
* Commercial sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending, development transactions and corporate support work.
* Site acquisitions and disposals across a range of sectors and geographies.
* Drafting and negotiating legal documentation such as bespoke overage agreements, options, and conditional contracts.
* Acting for a diverse client base including private individuals, SME clients, agricultural clients, and larger commercial entities.
* Developing business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships as part of the firm’s strategic growth.
Person Specification
This law firm is looking for a proactive and client‑focused Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive with the following attributes:
* Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ PQE, although all levels of qualified experience will be considered.
* Solid background in handling a full spectrum of commercial property matters.
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset.
* A track record of delivering excellent client service and building long‑term professional relationships.
* Willingness to engage in business development and take on responsibility within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Additional experience in residential property would be welcomed, although this is not essential.
