Pet Groomer - Rochester Salon
The Hound Hut is hiring a Full-Time Professional Pet Groomer for our Rochester salon.
This is more than a grooming job—it's an opportunity to be a Brand Ambassador for a company deeply committed to the health and happiness of every pet. We provide a gold-standard of care, known as 'The Hound Hut Experience,' and we're looking for a skilled professional to deliver it.
Location: Rochester, UK Schedule: Full-Time (5 days a week, including every Saturday)

* Expert Grooming Skills: Ability to perform all services to the highest standards, following specific customer and breed requests.
* Behavioural Awareness: A strong ability to understand pet behaviour to tailor the grooming experience for minimal stress and maximum comfort.
* Customer Focus: Exceptional communication skills for advising customers, managing expectations, and resolving concerns with professionalism and warmth.
* Commercial Acumen: A proactive approach to managing your schedule, ensuring efficient workflow and maximising pets through the salon.
* Commitment to Welfare: A dedication to maintaining rigorous health, safety, and hygiene standards across the salon, tools, and all animal handling practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 'The Hound Hut Experience' of compassionate, expert care.
* Perform all grooming services while prioritising pet welfare and safety.
* Provide an exceptional customer experience, ensuring client satisfaction and handling follow-up rectifications.
* Efficiently manage and coordinate your scheduled appointments.
* Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon and on all equipment.
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies.
