Purpose of Role
VINCI Facilities has been awarded a prestigious contract by the Department for Education (DfE), delivering Total Facilities Management across a new portfolio of schools. This includes pre-opening services to support school readiness, mobilisation, and full operational FM post-opening.
Job Description
We’re now recruiting a Facilities Manager to oversee multiple education sites across London and the South East. This is a key role ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performing environments for students and staff, while leading service delivery in line with contract KPIs.
Responsibilities
•Day-to-day management of hard and soft FM services across a cluster of school sites
•Line management of on-site teams and supervision of subcontractors
•Ensure health & safety, statutory compliance, and quality assurance are met or exceeded
•Build trusted relationships with school leadership teams and the DfE
•Lead site audits, lifecycle planning, and reporting using CAFM systems
•Drive service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across your portfolio
Essential Qualifications/Skills
•Experience in facilities management across multi-site environments – ideally within education, PFI, or public sector
•Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, statutory compliance, and building services
•A confident leader, with strong communication and client-facing skills
•NEBOSH/IOSH and FM-related qualifications are highly desirable
•A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
