GROUP DATA ANALYST
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, developing data-driven solutions, and supporting project management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Analysis:
Analyse weekly and monthly sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Market and Competitor Research:
Conduct comprehensive analysis of automotive industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and consumer demand patterns to support marketing initiatives and product strategy development.
Process Optimisation:
Assess dealership, sales, and logistics operations to identify process gaps and implement streamlined, efficiency-driven workflows.
Data Reporting:
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely reports to senior management and key stakeholders, covering inventory levels, sales performance, and operational effectiveness.
Systems Development and Support:
To support enhancements to CRM and stock management systems, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and finance teams to execute strategic initiatives and drive business performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within the automotive sector.
Technical Skills:
Strong analytical and data modelling capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
Industry Knowledge:
Working knowledge of Management Systems (DMS) and particular in retail auto-trade inventory management processes.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Full time – Monday – Friday
Salary - up to £45k - £60k dependent on experience
